Vintage ruby and diamond ring

A vintage 18 carat yellow and white gold ring with an oval faceted ruby in a halo of 16 brilliant cut diamonds. The ring is hallmarked for the City of Birmingham and the year 1995. 

The ruby measures 5.5 mm by 3.5 mm and is around a .40 carat stone. The diamonds are .15 carat in total, VS1 in quality and H in color. 

The ring size is 17.75 mm, the size can be modified if necessary. 

The ring is in very good condition. The ruby is a desirable intense deep red in color.
